Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I,
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference."
It was impulsive- I am fully aware. Booking a flight to Europe BECAUSE I don't have a job may not have been the most well though out decision. A lifestyle lacking income rarely allows for a spending spree of epic proportions. But I had to do it-- I've always wanted to go. While discussing the high cost of traveling this evening someone told me to compare it to having children... which is an interesting start to an analogy because I feel that the freedom of not yet having children supports the justification of me throwing caution to the wind and exploring... but the woman said to me, "If anyone sat down and added up ALL the costs of having a baby before they did it, no one would have one. Yet it's worth it, every penny." You have to do what feels right. You have to follow your heart and share your love with the world-- even if it means blowing all your life savings on the trip of a lifetime. Life savings... it is meant to be spent on life, right?
